Privacy Policy

Uplift Strength Studio PRIVACY POLICY Version 1.0 Effective Date: August 12, 2026

At Uplift Strength Studio, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect through our app, how we collect it, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can control it.

1. Information We Collect

Information we standardly collect:

  • First & Last Names

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number(s)

Additional information you may choose to provide:

  • Any further details you voluntarily share with us (e.g., preferences, date of birth, notes for staff)

Payment information:

  • Collected by our team and processed and stored securely by Stripe (see Section 4)

We collect data minimally — only what is needed to communicate with you directly, manage your membership and billing, and internal communications. We do not automatically collect device information, diagnostics, location data, or usage analytics through the app.

2. How Information Is Collected

  • Direct input: You provide your name, email, and phone number when creating an account or membership, and may choose to share additional information with our team directly.

  • Payment collection: Payment details are collected by our team and submitted directly to Stripe for processing and storage; we do not use any separate SMS provider or third-party SDK to collect your information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and membership

  • Process payments and billing

  • Communicate with you directly (appointment/class reminders, billing questions, business updates) via text, email, or phone

  • Send occasional newsletters (opt-out available at any time)

  • Maintain and improve the functionality and reliability of the app

  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information for purposes beyond those listed above without your consent.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share or sell your personal information to third-party entities. The only exception is our payment processor:

  • Stripe — collects and stores your payment information for processing transactions. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. See Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy for details.

We do not use a third-party SMS provider, analytics tool, or any other service to collect or process your personal information. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Security of Your Information

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

6. Minors

If a minor is enrolled as part of a family or dependent membership, their account data is stored within their parent or guardian's account. This data receives the same level of security as any other account data, is not shared with third parties, and only the parent or guardian on the account may make changes to the minor's membership or account information.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • We retain your account information for as long as your membership remains active.

  • You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time; requests will take effect within 30 days.

  • Payment and billing records are retained locally for up to 7 years in accordance with standard tax and accounting recordkeeping requirements. Upon written request after your membership has ended, we can delete this billing information sooner.

  • To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at frontdesk@upliftpt.org or 405-256-2295.

  • Platform settings may be configured by admins to block user-led cancellations. As a result, account deletion is primarily managed by our business staff or by Exercise.com support, rather than directly by the user within the app. Subscription cancellations are likewise managed by our business staff.

  • Users can request account deletion or cancellation by submitting our Cancellation/Deletion Request Form, accessible from the app's custom menu tabs or sent to clients directly upon request.

8. Your Choices & How to Opt Out

  • SMS messages: Reply "STOP" to any text message to opt out at any time. You will receive a confirmation message, and we will stop sending SMS messages to your number. Reply "HELP" for support, or contact us at frontdesk@upliftpt.org.

  • Email newsletters and marketing: Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us directly to opt out of marketing communications.

  • Access or deletion: Submit our Cancellation/Deletion Request Form, available from the app's menu, or contact us at frontdesk@upliftpt.org or 405-256-2295, to request access to or deletion of your data. Requests take effect within 30 days. Note that account deletion and subscription cancellations are managed by our business staff or Exercise.com support rather than through in-app self-service.

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS communications. Message frequency may vary.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may periodically update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a prominent notice on our site and/or within the app.
